FAQs

About Repreaux

Are you only focused on abortion?

Abortion access is central to our mission, but reproductive freedom is broader than any single policy.

We believe people should be able to make decisions about their bodies, pregnancies, families, and futures without political interference.

Our work will focus on the political decisions that affect those freedoms and the leaders responsible for making them.

What does success look like?

There is no single election or legislative session that will undo years of attacks on reproductive freedom.

Success means building power over time: electing more pro-choice leaders, defeating harmful policies, holding politicians accountable, strengthening the reproductive freedom movement, and ultimately restoring and expanding access in Louisiana.

How is Repreaux working with existing reproductive rights organizations?

We see our role as complementary.

Louisiana’s reproductive freedom movement includes health care providers, advocates, organizers, legal experts, researchers, abortion funds, reproductive justice organizations, and many others doing essential work.

Repreaux is focused on adding political and electoral capacity to that ecosystem while working in partnership with organizations already leading in their areas of expertise.

Can I donate to Repreaux?

Yes.

Contributions help support Repreaux’s year-round advocacy, political education, accountability work, organizing, communications, research, and organizational infrastructure.

Because Repreaux Louisiana is a 501(c)(4) organization, contributions are generally not tax-deductible as charitable donations.
